3dogsminus1story

When Joe and I were dating, back in 2002, he talked about owning a Boxer dog. That is all he talked about, besides deer hunting and fishing. I told him that he could get a dog and keep it at my house since I had a fenced in back yard. So, we went and got his Boxer in November 2002. We named her Brandy and she is dark brown/Brendle. She was cute, even when she chewed up my bathroom door frame trying to escape while I was at school. I basically raised her and he would come see me...her...and occasionally take her to his house in Rome, GA. I am sure his mother loved that. Then we got married in 2004 and pretty much got another Boxer dog named Sadie. She is tan/fawn colored. We didn't really want her at the time, but we didn't act responsible and ended up getting her. She was a cutie, but what were we thinking?
Around Christmas 2006, we were looking in the pet store and I fell in love with this little Boston Terrier, but it was way overpriced and we didn't need 3 dogs. We heard a couple talking about the Boston Terrier and they said that they had 2 BT puppies at their house and they were not as expensive as the one in the pet store. After talking with the couple a few minutes, we discovered that they were our neighbors and lived a couple of houses down from us. Of course, we had to go by and see the puppies and that led to us getting one. We named her Ruby.
When we moved to our new house in 2007, we decided that 3 dogs were too much. Joe loved his Brandy and I wasn't letting go of Ruby Dooby, so we gave Sadie to one of our friends. They kept her for a while, but really didn't have a great place for her to run around a be free, so they were going to give her away, so we took her back. We realize that 3 dogs are still too much, so hopefully we will find a good home for her and we will be back to 3 dogs minus 1. Sadie is a very sweet and loving dog. She needs a good family to love her.
